COVID-19 Hygiene advice
Avoiding physical contact is a responsible behavior as it prevents the spread of COVID-19 disease and other viruses.
· Follow distancing norms in all public places Keep minimum distance of 6 feet
· Practicing good environmental hygiene makes your surroundings safer. Regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
· You may use chemical disinfectants to clean the surfaces
· Clean hands frequently with soap and hot- water. Wash hands after coughing or sneezing; before during and after food preparation; before eating; when hands are visibly dirty Maintain at least 1-meter (3 feet) distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
· Avoid touching your hands, nose and mouth.
· Do not spit in public.
· Maintain respiratory hygiene Cover your mouth and nose with tissues when coughing or sneezing.
Things to remember:
Wash your hands often with medicated soap and hot- water. Wash hands frequently and thoroughly! Use a hand sanitizer,
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
· Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
· Avoid unnecessary travel
· Discourage crowd - Encourage safety.
Limit going to social gatherings and say no to crowded places. Maintain Physical distance
· Do not circulate negative information in social medias
· Seek psychosocial support in case of any distress or anxiety
· Cover your mouth and nose with a FFR Mask (N95 mask) when around others.
· Everyone should wear a FFR Mask (N95 mask) in public settings.
· A FFR Mask (N95 mask) helps prevent a person who is sick.
· Always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough.
· Throw used tissues in the trash.
